So here is a collection of the greatest supers of all time. Watching the girls on Britain's Next Top Model trying to recreate Elle Macpherson's most famous shoots just showed these girls have nothing on the supers. I could have shared 100's and 100's of pictures but these were my favourites. I love this Wonderbra ad. In these gorgeous pictures we have the amazing Elle Macpherson, Helena Christensen, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford.
Today I saw an article on Janice Dickinson so that made me look up her old photos! She was so beautiful! I always loved her on America's Next Top Model and there's something missing now that she's not there! The pictures I've gathered of her are amazing and the reason why she called herself 'The World's First Supermodel' She just had a completely different look to anyone of her time! Then I was just looking back at photos of The Supermodels, It's my favourite era of models, as much as I love Kate Moss I much prefer these powerful women to the heroin chic. So tomorrow a post on Supermodels but today, the one who started it all, The World's First Supermodel….Janice Dickinson
I don't know what to say! Take a look as Sarah Murdoch announces the wrong winner of Australia's Next Top Model on LIVE TV, probably the most awkward thing I've seen. Poor girl! Hope this doesn't happen on the live Britain's Next Top Model final next week.
I am a little obsessed with flared jeans at the moment. When I was younger I thought they were unflattering but I'm warming up to them, a little too much I think. The only thing that puts me off is that to execute the look I think heels look better worn with them, and the thought of walking around all day in heels is very off putting. One of my favourite blogs Fashion Toast has the best style. Im envious of what she wears and love all her looks. This is her flared jeans look.
I know I post a lot about Nicole Richie but I just love her effortless style. She makes jeans and a t shirt look great. The flair is very flattering on her and suits her 70's style.
It's Kate Moss, of course she's going to look great in the flared jean, again so effortless.
The woman who started it all, Farrah Fawcett. She looks so chic and actually makes trainers look cool. I want her hair.
Marc Jacobs has launched a new site, I'm not sure exactly how long ago it was put up but I'm in love with it. It's very cool and I love the illustrations! You can check that out here I never really took notice of Marc Jacobs before, which I am not ashamed of, but I really like his designs. My favourite are his accessories. Here are some from the website I'm lusting over!
Yum Yum, this would be a perfect laptop bag to take to uni!I have the 'nemo nisi mors' ring but as it's not real silver, sadly It's gone all green and rusting. I really love all the designs and want them all! preferably none rusty!
I need to venture out from my Ray Bans, I love the cool print on the sunglasses and that their slightly winged
I am on the hunt for a new watch and I wanted an oversized silver one but I love this one, notice how it matches perfectly with the bag? ha
What do you think of the website?
It's Friday so here's your song! Seeing as I'm watching a documentary on Jimi Hendrix right now, here's one of my Favourite Hendrix songs, Voodoo Child.
"I want to say one more last thing
I didn't mean to take up all your sweet time
I'll give it right back to ya one of these days"
Another something my parents picked up for me from Paris was this Prada Fall Winter 2010 Look Book. It was lying around in the Prada store so they brought it back with them, I am so glad they did because this is such an interesting look book! I love the illustrations and the different style of photography. I am in love with the Prada glasses and Miranda Kerr looks fab in hers!
