Farewell To The Fairground

I was walking past the carousel in the middle of town and it reminded me of the Mulberry Spring Summer 2010 Campaign. I love Carousels and wish it was acceptable for a 19 year old to just hop on one without being stared at! As you may have guessed by now I'm a little obsessed with Mulberry and I love pretty much anything they come up with. I love this idea of the carousel horses, and the use of candy colours. Reminds me of the fair

Looking Back Lindsay

Oh Lindsay Lohan, What happened? I am in love with this Miu Miu ad for Spring Summer 2007, shot by Mert and Marcus. Reminds me a lot of the Kristen Dunst Miu Miu ad campaign. How beautiful does Lindsay's hair look here? I think she looks gorgeous as a red head and the pink lipstick really compliments her skin colour. Forget Lindsay the drug addict, remember when she was a fashion star rising? She had everything going for her and then she just spiralled out of control. She's currently in rehab getting better so I'm taking this as a good sign and that the fashionista inside her will return (obviously her health is more important) and I can't wait to see what she comes up with! What do you think of the ad campaign?

Classic Vogue

Take a look at some of these classic Vogue Covers. I love that they use to illustrate covers, I love fashion photography but this concept is really interesting. I wonder if Vogue would ever do an illustrated cover again, maybe for an anniversary issue! What do you think of these covers? I love the art deco feel, art deco style art is one of my favourite types of art.

If you fancy watching a film on Sunday Afternoon I recommend watching Leon which is one of my favourite films. It's a french crime thriller which isn't usually my cup of tea but it's filled with so much emotion. It stars a young Natalie Portman in the film who is unbelievably striking in the film. She has a distinct style with her short bob, puffa jacket and John Lennon style sunglasses. I couldn't recommend the film enough! Here are some film stills and a taster of the film. Have a nice weekend!

Tough Love

I am sat here typing, looking out my window at the beautiful snow. It's been snowing here since 1pm and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon! I've never seen snow in November, maybe this year we'll have a white christmas! Anyway moving on to today's post. Accessories. For some reason I've never been hugely into accessories and I don't tend to wear much. I stick to a ring and necklace that I wear every day. Pamela Love is a jewellery brand that i really love. It's quite expensive so not something that I'd really be buying right now! The designs are really unique and quite different, with designs like serpents, talons etc.

You should have a look at the website here

And now for today's Friday Song.
A little happy song that is perfect for dancing in the snow!
Fleetwood Mac is one of my favourite bands ever and this song is one of my favourites!

"Something's happening, happening to me
My friends say I'm acting peculiarly
C'mon baby we better make a start
You better make it soon
Before you break my heart

Oh I...I want to be with you everywhere
Oh I...I want to be with you everywhere
(Wanna be with you everywhere)"

Looking Back Maggie Grace

I remember this photo shoot from Instyle UK a couple of years back. I dont have the original copy and couldn't find the images anywhere but someone has scanned the magazine in onto the internet, that's why the quality isn't brilliant! I love this photo shoot, with the whole california theme. My favourite one is the shot with the Hollywood Sign in the background as you might have known by now is something I have a fascination with. The girl in the shot is Maggie Grace who is famous for being part of the earlier series of 'Lost' which was a long time ago! You don't really see her around anymore! I think she was perfect for the shoot as she's a very classic 'All-American Girl'

Red Haired Girl

I know this is the second time this week I've posted about Rihanna but I just found these pictures of her recent shoot with Interview Magazine. I occasionally buy this magazine and I will most definitely be getting this one! I'm having a serious crush on Rihanna right now! I think these shots are gorgeous especially the cover. What do you think of the shots?
