Mary Kate Olsen graced the cover of Elle UK for the September 2008 Issue. This was when I really started reading Elle and is one of my favourite shoots of Mary-Kate. I love the fur Miu Miu coat! This is actually one of my favourite Elle covers aswel, especially the collectors edition!

Looking Back- Pin Up Girl
Looking Back Lindsay
Oh Lindsay Lohan, What happened? I am in love with this Miu Miu ad for Spring Summer 2007, shot by Mert and Marcus. Reminds me a lot of the Kristen Dunst Miu Miu ad campaign. How beautiful does Lindsay's hair look here? I think she looks gorgeous as a red head and the pink lipstick really compliments her skin colour. Forget Lindsay the drug addict, remember when she was a fashion star rising? She had everything going for her and then she just spiralled out of control. She's currently in rehab getting better so I'm taking this as a good sign and that the fashionista inside her will return (obviously her health is more important) and I can't wait to see what she comes up with! What do you think of the ad campaign?
Looking Back Maggie Grace
I remember this photo shoot from Instyle UK a couple of years back. I dont have the original copy and couldn't find the images anywhere but someone has scanned the magazine in onto the internet, that's why the quality isn't brilliant! I love this photo shoot, with the whole california theme. My favourite one is the shot with the Hollywood Sign in the background as you might have known by now is something I have a fascination with. The girl in the shot is Maggie Grace who is famous for being part of the earlier series of 'Lost' which was a long time ago! You don't really see her around anymore! I think she was perfect for the shoot as she's a very classic 'All-American Girl'

Looking Back Sienna Style

Another edition of Looking Back. Shot for Elle's August 2008 Cover. Sienna Miller is one of my style icons and I love the way she dresses. I think she photographs well and I love these shots. The black and white photos really bring out the different textures of the garments and I love her hair this length. I also really like that you can see her tattoos. Tattoos are such a taboo but they are beginning to become more acceptable. How does Sienna make a shoulder tattoo look so chic? Usually their a massive Tramp Stamp. I wish i physically owned this magazine!
Looking Back
I love looking back at old Ad Campaigns and photo shoots. Sometimes it's easy to forget some and sometimes you discover ones that you never knew existed. I think I'll do a weekly post of 'Looking Back' posting on old ad campaigns. One that I completely forgot about was Miu Miu's 2008 campaign with Kirsten Dunst. Remember when Kirsten Dunst was THE girl of the moment? She had that unique style and wasn't stereotypically beautiful but that's what made her so interesting. She's kind of fallen off the radar lately.

I love the circus theme which has been a little over done now mainly by music artists but I think the main thing that makes these ad campaigns work are the colours. I love the red, pink, navy and yellow and you can instantly see Miu Miu's identity in these shots. Love it.
